Thank you 419 Guy. These people pray on the feelings and emotions of people who are in need of finances and get them all excited about it. I am glad that someone has taken up the fight to expose them people for who they are.

I rec’ed the same type of letter and here it is 2014 of July and I got it a few days ago back last week and she gave me two options to get the money…..first option was thru my bank and it was to travel bank to bank if I gave my account #……….second option was thru a courier serv which a fee had to be paid in advamce of $200.00 to recover of $500,000.00 and was told that this money was to be split in 1/2 where $250,000.00 is mine and the other half to be given to charity. So I t5ried the courier service but come to find out that my email came back So I wrote back to her & told her that the only way I’ll except this money to have her deliver it thru the FBI channel. This way they do not charge any thing fordelivering the money.

I got the same exact email. I get sooo tired of these kinds of things something needs to be done about it. If something were to be legit there would have to be another way to go about it. I truely think someone that wanted to give away money would do it differently, if it was me I would want to know the kind of person I was giving it to not randomly selecting and I think anyone would.

Hey, If you send them your name, address, and phone number they can literally steal you identity. Sell your home out from under you and with your bank information you are handing them what they need on a silver platter. Could they be using it for forged passports. Do you have good credit….Credit rich / money poor is still a boone for the ID theif. Why is our governments not acting on these? We know they monitor our email info for terrorist. Are these not potential terrorist????

Yes, I received a similar couple of emails, slightly different but of the same ilk. I replied and they included a free online form that anyone can use. I replied to that with questions about the form and the contact details and will see what they say! I also notified Bank of America about this scam.

How do you know that this was a scam. This lady might have contacted few people to help them out of her large fortune and some Misfortune Americans that will live forever poor will make some people that need help loose their life fortune. She lives in our neighborhood in Fla and she has been helping people. We Americans should be careful the way we tarnish blessed people image that are ready to help. This is why billionaires fail to even help poor people because they don’t want their name to be tarnished by the poor ill fate people.

It is sad that what you say is true, however; I doubt that she actually uses the email in this way to help people. I just got the email and it did not specify how much. I am a starving elderly teacher that works every day and night. I would be a miracle to be able to even pay off my student loans. That said I am not going to give any personal data over the web and would suspect that any scrutinizing indidvidual would feel the same. She is a blessed person in that she helps others. That is what I would hope I would do if the opportunity ever arose. The fact still remains that scum is using her legit actions to fleece people. We the public need to hear about it.

I wished I can be contacted by Mrs. Gloria C MacKenzie. I believe we Americans are blessed with fortunes and not misfortuned people. In her whole life, would she have believed that she could win a million dollar. But with a belief she played and won that gift. I just wished I could be the one contacted rather than contacting those people with people that lost all hope of making it and are not willing to do something about their situation.

Yayyy …ughh i got this letter too .wow …… heres what i got ……..

I Mrs Gloria C. Mackenzie gladly appreciate your response to my email in respect to my donation of $980,000.00 to you and your amazing family. I really did not expect a response from you especially due to the rapid scam on the internet and news of people loosing their money and homes to fraudsters over the internet with false promises and letters of lottery winnings. I am aware of all these evil deeds in the society in this present age but back in our youthful days it was totally different as our major fear was war. But considering my age and strength i cannot personally go around traveling hours to your home and the homes of other 4 beneficiaries like yourself, for that reason along am i contacting you via email personally to avoid any sort of misconduct. Considering how evil and selfish people are these days i don’t trust handing over this transaction to anyone at this earliest stage expect my paying bank, which will be contacting you later, only after i am satisfied that you can be trusted. The Bank of Cyprus which is a well trusted bank in the Mediterranean of Europe are the bank currently handling my investment and distribution of my financial donations to Charities Homes, Communities, School, Hospitals and wonderful beneficiaries like yourself.

I could have applied the assistance of my son Scott Mackenzie but since our newly found wealth he has become a little bit irresponsible and not trust worthy in financially terms that is why i have taken upon myself in contacting you personally via this medium, which i sincerely apologies for. I am not very enlightened with the internet but the little i know is checking my emails and replying to my messages. I have chosen you as one of my beneficiary and hereby contacting you directly after receiving your details from the U.S Welfare Services and the Charity Assembly.

After going through your profile and information’s i was convinced that you could be trusted and will be honest and responsible enough to at least help and assist the needy within your locality from the $980,000.00 i have donated to you which you will be receiving from my paying bank (Bank of Cyprus). Since your email address was among the emails which was submitted to me by U.S Lottery Board, U.S Defense Contract Management Agency, World Census Bureau & the Charity Assembly, to be considered as one of our beneficiaries, I was happy to receive your information’s and then decided to give you a chance to live a more comfortable life. This is a life time changing opportunity for you & your family and you can only achieve that if you make wise use of this donation.

Since i wasn’t able to contact you in a more formal and more realistic way i had to ensure that the media took a full video coverage of my financial donations to charity organizations and other families like yourself just to prove that my intentions are honest and only focused at making your life and that of your loved ones more comfortable. You will find some of my interviews and my financial donations to the needy on the U.S ABC News, but i have also provided you some Weblinks to view:

I have decided to donate to the needy, less privileged and charity projects all over the world, and make at least 7 families happy. At the age of 84 years i have little or no more fantasies but my major concern is ensuring that i put my Powerball Lottery Prize of $590,500,000.00 into good use by ensuring that i am able to make at least 7 unknown families happy and be able to bring that fantasies into manifestation, making their fantasies become reality.

I also want to launch a scholarship fund, and will donate to charities, particularly those supporting adoption, However, ever since I won the Powerball jackpot,I have been investing ahead of the future for my kids & grand children, as i just bought some houses in London, Australia also in Cyprus a beautiful warm island and very sunny during summer. All this investment are been control and monitored by my paying bank in Cyprus which is the Bank of Cyprus the major national bank. Cyprus its basically an holiday resort country perfect for vacation far from the United States media and publicity of our new wealth.

However because i am currently on vacation here in Cyprus, I had to deposit your Cheque with the Bank of Cyprus. I choose the Bank Of Cyprus to make the transfer of my donation amount to you because they have the full capacity to make such transfer go through successful without delays and mainly because they are currently advising and handling my funds and housing investments.

I find it really amazing receiving appreciation gift and emails, already today i have received 2 appreciation letters from Katie the daughter of Mrs Dorothy Perkins who is only 9 years old, such appreciations really makes me feel alive and gives me a reason to do more. This kind of emails i receive from beneficiaries gives me so much joy and i am really happy for you being one of my beneficiaries. Though sometimes its difficult to make beneficiaries believe they have really won, for example Mrs. Dorothy Perkins told us that she received her own funds, though she was a little scared and afraid as a result of different scams going on in the internet today, but she made up her mind, she trusted us and she followed the Bank of Cyprus instructions, which facilitated to the safe transfer of the funds which i donated to her family.

I have submitted your Name, Email Address and your Mobile Number to my pay-out bank (Bank Of Cyprus) and the International banking services transfer department will send you an email to facilitate the disbursement process of the funds $ 980,000.00 USD (Nine Hundred & Eighty Thousand Dollars.) I humbly urge you to cooperate with the Bank of Cyprus in other to enhance a smooth and successful transfer of the funds which i donated to you because you are the only beneficiary who has not yet received his donation money yet.

I hope you will be able to use the money wisely and judiciously over there in your Area. I also will employ you to do what you can to alleviate the level of poverty in your region and also try to enhance the standard of living of as many people as you can because that is my major objective of donating this money to you.

    Your Sincerely ,
    Mrs Gloria C. Mackenzie

I was reading your email 419 because I am contacted by these people (the Mackenezie’s foundation) to donate funds to our Agency in the west Indies. But I am a little pressured to go any more but all info is true that we researched, therefore, We also decided to sent money to open an account with the Lloyds Bank Uk.

I did a lot of research on Mrs Mackenezie Foundation and Lord Leitch from the Lloyds Bank UK. and found it to be true, I know she also live in Jacksonville USA.

I like your response on the Matter and what you did despite the ods and received your funds if I am right.

I am confused at this point of business and we need your help whether or not you received your funds. You sound like you had a rough time but you went ahead and worked with the cypus Bank and claim your funds. On the behalf of my family who put money to have these funds transfer to our account but it did not happened as yet.

Tell me by tonight if this matter is a lie, and I will not continue with it any more?
This is my email address: at the top of page. I just want you to write to me or send your phone number. I need your help urgently.

I got this on July 12, 2013 – I am aware of scams so have been doing a LOT of research and this seemed so legit! ALMOST got fooled – enough so that I was going to open a small bank account for the single purpose of supplying bank account info to see what happened – of course with just enough in it to open it – then close it once I found out what was going on – finding this website killed that idea as I now know it is a scam:

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The retiree from Maine who won a $590 million Powerball jackpot in May has bought a 6,300-square-foot, five-bedroom home in a gated golf course community in southeast Jacksonville, Fla.

Eighty-four-year-old Gloria MacKenzie has remained in the shadows since coming forward to claim the prize. She took a lump sum of $371 million that totaled $278 million after taxes.

She bought her winning ticket May 18 in Zephyrhills (ZEH’-fur-hils), Fla., where she lived in a rental apartment.

The Tampa Bay Times reports (http://bit.ly/12Y59HG) that property records show the deed to the $1.175 million Jacksonville home was transferred to trustee Melinda MacKenzie on June 21.

Gloria MacKenzie has a daughter by the same name. Her son, Scott, who had a standing agreement to split the prize with his mother, also lives in Jacksonville.

    Wow,
I too received this e-mail, and to tell you the truth, I did go out and open a small checking account for the sole purpose of making this transaction. I told Mr. King “the banker” that I did not have $500 for the charge of transferring the money and if he could just mail the money directly to me, he seemed to have gotten offended by my insinuating it might be a scam and stated that if I could not pay the charge he would inform Ms. Mackenzie that I could not comply and therefore withdraw her offer.
This is so wrong, I actually thought that maybe this was a miracle, and that God and Ms. Mackenzie had just saved me from ruin. I hope these people get what the deserve for playing with peoples lives like this.

I was offered $500,000 transfer from the Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand. My 13 yr old was so excited. I said it is a scam son. If they are going to send you money. It would be a cashiers check from the bank but no transfer. Yes we are struggling. He asks everyday did you get the money yet. When I put my occupation as law enforcement the next email stated we will get back to you.

I received an email yesterday. It said my email address had been picked by and independent company. It asked me to reply just to let her know I was a real person. When I did that she responded saying her bank in the UK would contact me and that since she was paying it forward, she hoped I would feel led to do the same with the 1Million she wanted to give me. she said she couldn’t wire the money here in the USA because of the gift tax she would be required to pay.
I received an email from, supposedly, barclays bank in the UK with a re routing application to fill out, telling me that if I felt more comfortable it might be wise to open a conmpletly separate account for the deposit. It asked me only for my name, address, phone and email which my bank says they ask for when they wire money out.
I’m torn between wanting to believe and pure skepticism. On one hand, with the new account they can’t get anything from me and a google search would pretty much tell them everything they are asking anyway. The truth will be in what they ask me to do next..if they ask me to pay something to receive this gift I know 100% it will be a scam. If it’s a scam, all I’ve lost is some time and gained a lesson learned. If it’s true, I’ve gained the ability to help a lot of people that could use a helping hand right now. We shall see what we shall see I guess.

I received these emails and as soon as they provided the wrong contact info it basically sealed it for me that this was some sick people preying on people. Hope this helps at least one person from being harmed by these people.

I got this same email it doesn’t look like most of yours unless you’ve just shown part of it. She didn’t ask for ID just my name o-o and occupation. Then I sent in an inquiry to her just to see what happened, and I even have an email from someone with HSBN… I do want to check his validity, but I don’t know how. I really don’t have the money to open the personal account.. but I know if I got stuck in that o-o id make sure it was my own.

I am Rose a Catholic looking after orphans and vulnerable children and I am from Uganda. I have received the same message on the 27/9/2013 and even today 29/9/2013. It is very sad indeed when you are struggling to make ends meet to ensure orphans go to schools, get something to eat, they are treated, they get a sheltter, they get a cloth to put on, then someone just comes to play on your head.

I googled and from my view, it is true that Mrs. Gloria C. Mackenzie won the lottery but the problem is jackers could be using her name and the fortune to confuse the world. Let Mrs. Gloria and with the help of her son use our emails send us on skype, facebook that they declare the truth of what is taking place. Again I must sypathize with Gloria true her age is delicate, so people are taking advantage of that but the son Scott should come up strongly on this to clear peoples minds.

    Thanks Rose from Uganda

Hey guys looks like they are still at it, received this e-mail below earlier today, 10 December 2013. A little extra money could have come in handy, especially at this time of year. Oh well will still need to keep playing the lottery myself. If you hear of me winning and wanting to donate money to you, if you do not know me then someone is taking you for a ride.

I received the same e-mail regarding the Jackpot Winner from Mackenzie Family, I have been in contact with “Scott Mackenzie” via e-mail and am at a stand still due to this website and other websites that claim this is a scam.

I thought that my life was saved with a $1,500,000 donation from Gloria Mackenzie, but I should have known it’s a scam.

    This is what I received:

The message to you might come as a surprise, the same way I felt when told my ticket was the winning ticket.
Gloria Mackenzie is my name largest Florida jackpot winner of $590 million. As an 84-year-old mother I have seen it all, in giving back to community am giving you $1.5 million along two other US resident.

I received this message from a Schweigert,Keith@sanfordhealth.org which states that Gloria Mackenzie is donating two millions dollar to me and contact her at gmackenzie84@rogers.com for more information. Well Sanford health is a real organization so I am about to expose this to them and I also have the FBI on scam email and I attached and send these to them. Don’t know if anything is done about it but I know they prey upon poor or unfortunate people. Always know that if someone is giving away money for free – then just send it! if the say they need all your info and you have to pay them to get it in any way – ITS A SCAM!

I got an email too promising 2 million I found this site by accident trying to reaseach if it is real. but what I find interesting is that there is NOBODY who actually got any money! No one has ever come forth to say she gave them the money. What is worse my letter says she has cancer and moved to England for treatment but then I found an article that says she still shops at Walmart that is not in England she is in the US. The nerve of people trying to take money from people who really needed the blessing in the first place

I had one as well ,that is wrong. From the first its sound like a joke to me ,but after when i replied back for a second i believed maybe i am a lucky one. I was asked to contact Bristol trust bank and she gave me her deposite refrence GLORIA/8240023AVL/BTB/2014. for easy trace of her file. and if i have any difficulties i can contact Mr. Chou Sambath and he will help me out . As soon as i went in to bank account opening there was written I need to pay such as amount off money then i knew from that it just lies. So i desided to google it and c what others have to say about that letter sending by Gloria Mackenzie.

Well sad to say but this is still going on… Just received this yesterday. So upsetting that people are so cruel. Im a single mother of two small kids. full time student, and work full time. I never see my kids. Thought this was a gift from God. The fact that the predator refers to God sickens me. This has happened to me before. I wish there was a way to report it. Part of me still thinks what if?? That’s how these people do this. They prey on people who really need a miracle!! its really not right. I responded and am waiting for the catch that I have to pay some kind of charges. Gook luck to all hope this helps someone. it helped me

    Good day to you.
Greetings, I am very pleased to read your reply, I am Mrs Gloria C. Mackenzie i am a 84 years old Widow, and I am from Zephyr hills, Florida, Winner of Power ball Jackpot of $590,500.00 million in June 5, 2013, My jackpot was a gift from God to me and my entire family has agreed to do the will of God. I am presently in London for treatment. I hope this information meet you well as I know you will be curious to know why/how I selected you to receive a cash sum of 2,000,000.00 US Dollars our information below is 100% legitimate.
After winning the lottery, i have successful taken care of the needs of our immediate family members and relative, Due to my present health condition, i am my son have decided to deposit the sum of 2million Us Dollars with a bank in London, and this fund is presently with the bank awaiting my disbursement as depositor. Recently my doctor told me that i would not last for the next eight months due to cancer problem. I have been diagnosed with Esophageal cancer, having known my condition, i decided to donate this funds to a church, organization or good heart and God fearing individual that will utilize this money in good faith. I took this decision because i have taken good care of my son an he his well establishment as well as other relatives.
I and my son Scot, have kept this deposit secret till date and have made several donations to other organization and good hearted individuals from what was left, this is why i am taking the decision. I am very grateful to you for the interest shown in my plight and i want to assure you that you will be greatly rewarded for what you have chosen to do. Although we know each other for the first time but I believe our father has directed me to you as I prayed and searched over the internet for assistance because I saw your profile on a list of registered email addresses provided to me by Microsoft list from which I picked you.

Be assured you stand no risk as this is my money, for source and verification please see the link below: http://www. huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/05/ 590-million-jackpot-winner_n_ 3392040.html

Like i stated before, i won the lottery and i alone have the sole power to donate/assign a next of kin to the funds to whoever I want. I am a born again christian (I am a CATHOLIC) and take delight only in the things of our father as I have prayed a lot on this already and I believe so much in the manifestation of Christ that I know he will not fail me so I want you to know that you have to be strong in your faith as he {Almighty} will surely strengthen you.
My other relatives are not Christians and they have used part of the funds and property we left behind for worldly things. As I am here in the hospital they are around me and they have sold virtually all I have left; what they wait to hear is that I am dead so that they lay their hands on my last belongings here on earth but that does not bother me because things of the earth are canal and there is an eternal home for me which there is enough enjoyment.
I do not want them to know about this deposit that is why I am communicating with you only on email and I am making communication with the finance firm also who understands my predicament. All I need is your absolute trust, commitment, confidentiality and honesty because I want to see my vision fulfilled before I leave this sinful world. My spirit directed me to you as I prayed and searched over the internet for someone to help me since I can no longer trust my family members and friends and I do not want this particular deposit to be used for things of the world. I will want you to get back to me that you will be absolutely honest about this transaction and you will use this money to the Glory of God. Also you have to assure me you will keep this transaction confidential and you will be willing to contact the finance firm which is located in United States of America(USA), and finalize all necessary formalities as to the release of the fund to you. I will also want to know a little more about you regarding your life, your spiritual life, what you do for a living so as for me to know you will be able to complete this. At the moment I cannot write much because of my health and I do not know when my time will be up so I require your urgent response if you are trust worthy and willing to help me finalize this transactions that I will immediately write my chamber to prepare a court injunction/power of attorney making you beneficiary to my fund as all other documents are with the finance firm as I sent it to them for safe keeping so my family members will not lay their hands on it. To prepare this document I will require your:
    Name:
    Address:
    Age:
    Sex:
    Occupation:
    Phone Number:
With this document you will contact the finance firm to arrange the transfer of the fund to you. As soon as the funds get to you, i want you to settle your immediate need and also help me set up charity or distribute it to charity organizations and hospitals . God permitting, I pray to be alive when you receive this fund and start this project so that you can visit me here if you wish to.

    Help Please, Today.
This thing the email of donation, Mrs Gloria Mackenzie UK. is Killing me. I am to send another payment of 350GBP to the bank, Lloyds Bank UK. to Mr Lord Leitch for transfer. He send me a different name by mistake, who to send the fund too, and this is making me annoyed about this transaction..
Mrs Gloria paid 1000GBP on the cost of the money transfer. But now this new named officer has me thinking why the change in personnel. another south African name who I do not know, this is not right for business. The sum of donation, Two point five mill. The problem is now in the Lloyds Bank Manchester Greater Manchester UK.

I read all your letter and thoughts about the facts and queries who and what is true or lies. I spent a good set of money on this Lady Ads. sent to others. I did not received any email at first but a small letter from a very recognized person in the google world stating this email is true, and Donation for a cause to help the Poor and needy. We also do that on a weekly bases as a Church in our local state. W.I

The FBI usually are on top of these wicket emails. I may be far away but his stopped many individuals by using time to building a case against the evil one.
It is time now to stop this people.

Your reply is valuable to us Today. I am praying that this thing is true from the “Gloria’s foundation.” To us to help others.
Please if you have any more info pass it on to my address.
    Thank you.
I would like Mrs Gloria phone number today; i have all the files with this present case. The Reidboyz.

I also rec’d this email a couple days ago in the amount of $800,000. I must say it was the best letter from a scammer so far seeing they used God in it.. I thought ok,, they only asked for name, address, phone number etc… no bank account number. That would be the next step.. People.. If someone,, some stranger is just going to randomly pick people from the internet to give money away it’s just gotta be fake.. I mean some of us might be well off to begin with.. Plus they could just mail out a cashiers cheque.. Not have to open a bank account or pay out anything on top of it… It is a sad day when people will do anything and I mean anything to make a buck… Don’t fall for it….. Karma to those involved with this.. either in this life or the next…. You reap what you sow….

Has anyone gotten so far as to be given a bank account numbers and be able to view your account online with the total amount showing?? If you did, were you able to get the money? Am waiting for info at present on my account. Will advise of what happens as the bank wants $4,000.00 to transfer the money. I was told by my bank that there are fees and it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a scam. They have never asked for any action account numbers for my bank. If anyone knows anything please advise.

Even if this weren’t a “personalized” variant on the Nigerian Scam, wouldn’t a legitimate bank simply let the recipient deduct the fee from the “donation” or “transfer”?

Brenda, anything from Gloria Mackenzie or any of her associates in the United Kingdom hitting your inbox is the result of mass e-mails from scammers in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. There are numerous similar scams being circulated on the internet. The fact that there are any fees whatsoever should be indication of a scam. To be sure, if you really want to move forward when you receive an e-mail such as this, I would suggest demanding that official notification be sent via postal mail. Any legitimate organization would have no problem doing this however scammers tend to be very price-conscious and would not submit to something as simple sending a letter in the post, whose authenticity would be obvious if it were from a legitimate source. Please don’t send these criminals any money. Transactions of this magnitude are not generally meant to be undertaken by e-mail. Documents must be signed beforehand and scammers count on your ignorance and the local Western Union outlet. If you’re certain who you are dealing with is legitimate, make sure they have a company processing credit card orders and pay by credit card; it’s much more difficult to be defrauded by credit card and the issuer is likely to refund your money in the event of fraud. Good luck and please practice the exercise of scrutiny whenever you are in a situation where someone is promising you a lot of money in exchange for upfront fees; I’ve never heard of anyone making money off of any of these internet schemes and if someone had, you would have heard of them by now.
